Much of Shafter is yours to experience on your own schedule. Walk the historic streets, explore the town’s distinctive buildings and ruins, visit the Mine Store, or step back into the story of Shafter at the Post Office Museum.

Beyond town, the wider landscape offers plenty to discover. Horseback riding, hunting, shooting, and other select activities may be available through Cibolo Creek Ranch and are arranged separately based on that property’s availability, season, and individual terms.
