Shafter is an active restoration. Which buildings are open, what is available, and what a stay includes all change as the work progresses. We update this site as things change, but we cannot guarantee that every page is current at the moment you read it.

Where this site describes activities at Cibolo Creek Ranch, those are provided by a separate, privately held property under its own terms, and are subject to that property's availability and rules.

Reservations are made through a third-party booking platform and are subject to the terms presented at the time of booking, including that platform's cancellation policy.

Shafter is a remote, self-guided property inside an active restoration. There is no front desk and no staff on site. Parts of the town are unrestored and are not safe to enter. Guests are responsible for their own safety and for staying out of areas marked as closed.
